of precious metal.
Modern use of the arm band includes athletic wear
and fashion wear, comfort wear etc. Sometimes, arm
bands are also worn in order to hold other accessories.
Traditionally, only gold, silver and other such metals were used for arm bands. Now, cloth and other material are being used for arm bands.
These have made arm bands serve a wide variety of purposes across the spectrum.
They are used for both utilitarian and aesthetic values. For aesthetic value, though, the use of gold and silver has waned. |
